Matt,

It sounds like you have access to a great shop. Where I live, the nearest shop is about 20 miles away. I get to go to a herf, maybe once a month, if I'm lucky. Being a single father I can not get out that much. This is one reason I purchase most online. But as I noted, there is no replacement for the knowledge you can glean from those in the shop.

There is a little hole in the wall B&M in my area I go to. He has the best in store prices I've seen. His shop doesn't have a big screen LCD or leather couches but when I am wanting to try something new I'll look there first. Other than that I buy online.

I have a pretty decent shop nearby but the selection is limited. He just got some Illusiones and has been on the Tatuaje list for what seems like forever. If anyone has any pull with Andy give me a shout, there are a lot of brothers jonesin' for tats in my neck of the woods.

I do a mix of both internet and B&M. I love the internet pricing, as well as the ability to pick up sampler packs. If I want to smoke something I don't have TODAY or I just want to hang out, I'll go to my favorite B&M. I don't do volume buying locally anymore, however. Another issue is the local B&M sometimes stop carrying the brand of cigar that I like. So either I have to find another local shop, or keep buying them on the internet.

..I found one B&M, West Coast Cigars, that I will support and in my better days will buy a lot from.
I second WCC. Nice guys that run the place and they have a huge selection (but not everything!). I like their special event nights.

If you're anywhere near the South Bay (San Jose and surrounding area), I definitely recommend stepping into West Coast. Don't let the run-down industrial area fool you!
