Sorry to hear that - have a good friend who has been battling Crohn's for years and I regularly donate to the cause.
Be well and I hope the best for you.

Life is not fair.. But we do with it what we can. I'm sorry that you have to give up your hobby. But there's always another one right around the corner. Even if you're done with cigars, BOTL will always be here for ya cigars or not. Enjoy life on your terms my friend.

I wish you the best in your battle, brother. My uncle's son has Crohn's. Just recently he was put on a new medication that allowed him to have a solid stool for the first time in years. We take so much for granted. Take care.

I'm really sorry to hear about your health problem. So sad that you have to give up this hobby. I'm extremely allergic to nightshades (potatoes, peppers, tomatoes, etc.), and tobacco happens to be a nightshade. So far I don't seem to be having any problems with cigars, but if they start causing problems, I'll be joining you, expect I'll have a heck of a lot more cigars to get rid of. Hopefully it won't come to that.

solid stools - I remember that day well. It occurs about once a month ... if I'm lucky

Sorry to hear about your Crohn's. My daughter had it misdiagnosed when she was 10 and now she's 29. Gave birth to a beautiful grandson last year. She's still on meds for this.

My son got diagnosed when he was 18. He's having a harder time, physically with it, than my daughter.

Food and stress are triggers for this in both of them.

Good luck!

Jeff
