I am sorry to hear your news, very unfortunate. I hope you get to take this oppurtunity to spend some quality time with your old man, share some smokes, get some fishing time or even just enjoy some good conversation and each others company. If the worst should happen, then in the future you can look back at this time you spent together as something you gained and will cherish. i hope the best for you bro.

I will be going home for about a week when my dad gets out of the hospital to help him out a bit while my brother and sister are working. So that should be interesting in itself. I always spend quality time with my dad, alot of pipe smoking and working out in the garage making pipes. I love the hell out of my dad, for years now he has been my best damn friend in the world. We talked about everything, hung out playing computer games, and just plain had fun givin eachother shit. Where do you think I got my screen name from.
Well I don't mean to ramble on, It's just difficult to see my dad in the condition he's in right now.

Sorry to hear of the tragic news Kelly, it sounds like he is ok with what's going on and that's a positive, if there can be one. Enjoy every moment man.

Kelly,
I’m sorry to here about your dad. I am happy that the surgery went well. You, your dad and the rest of your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. I also lost my mom to cancer in 2002. It is very hard to deal with. I don’t know if you read my post but we’re going through it now with my wife’s father. He has stage 4 lung cancer.
Since the surgery went well it sounds like a good prognosis for your dad and I wish him all the best and a speedy recovery. Stay strong and positive.
Rick
