Had a smoked Manhattan at a pub after lunch, place looked like a shithole but actually had nice bourbons and signature drinks.

Tried the EH Taylor Barrel Proof Batch 13 at dinner with the GF last night. Good, but doesn't match up to Batch 12 (which was amazing).

Opened up one of my favorite Elijah Craig BPs last night, C919. Probably one of my top 10 bourbons of all time.It did not disappoint.

Another fresh crack, a JD Barrel Proof store pick from Garfield's. My last JD pick from Sal's was disappointing, so I was happy that this one is delicious like most of the JD picks I've tried have been.

Out with the GF and I tried some Chicken Cock. Sweet and too light. Let the jocularity begin.

Later at home I opened a single barrel pick from a store in the city.
