Weekend pours....tried the Redwood Empire Cask Strength at a local restaurant. It was good but not great.

I'm sorry to hear it was just ok. I'm from the Redwood Empire aka Sonoma County.
Kinda like So Co itself. It used to be great, now it's just ok.:cautious:
Yada yada yada, I haven't been back there in 9 years and don't plan on returning.

Had a couple nice pours while out yesterday. A liquor store I went to get the GF some champagne at had a sal bar for pours. I was able to try the Russell's 15 Year. I like the 13 Year better.

Then we stopped at a bar before dinner and I had some Jack Daniel's Coy Hill. This one was a banger, I'd love to try a Hazmat version.

Oh also had some Elijah Craig toasted recently. Heard great things about that stuff. Found it to be just ok. Lost track of this thread. Didn’t loose track of my drinking habit though lol. Been on a red wine kick lately. And some gin

IMG_7284.jpegIMG_7281.jpegIMG_7282.jpegThat’s the bardstown I keep mentioning. I like it a lot. Benchmark was also very good. Think the benchmark comes from the Buffalo trace distillery. Whatever wherever it’s respectable. I like Buffalo trace better at 31$. Just hard to grab at that price around here.
