Correction: Punch RS #12 from 01. Real spicy and very strong. To be honest, I did not enjoy it....spice is not high on my profile preferences. Probably why I am not partial to Party Shorts, etc.

Punch RS #11 from 2001. I agree with Mike post from 4/27. Didn't do it for me either. Medium-full with woody flavors, some spice. Draw was too tight, burn ran on me bigtime twice also. Could still taste the tannins and even at 5 years old, may require more time to develop.

One of my all time fav's is the RS#11......I had the RS #12 last night and did not like it......it was vastly different in profile from the #11's

Good to know Mike, cause have some from MAR 05 and not touched any yet. I think I will have that Monte #2 I received from a very nice brother yesterday. :applause: :applause:

My uncle and I are goin to Azucar after work, I brought along some Trinidad Fundares, La Gloria Cubana Medaille d'Or No. 2, and RyJ Ex. No. 4

Not sure which will be smoked, but they are all pretty good smokes!

Just smoked a Partagas short 05. It's a decent smoke but won't knock your socks off. The 05 class has a few gems. The SLR churchill 05 is terrific. The 05 RASCC is pretty good too. The H. Upmann Magnum 46 (05) has a terrific upside. You can tell it will be a classic in about 5 years. Other than that I haven't found too many 05's that I'm doing flips to smoke. The Partagas short is a nice reasonable smoke but not terrific. Several of the 05 RYJ's I have been very disappointed in. The montscristo edmundo 05 is a very average smoke if you ask me.
