With a half day off and the family out running around I decided to smoke a gift from MM. This Perdomo Reserve series P is terrific. I was looking for a mild cigar this afternoon. Just because it's mild doesn't mean it lacks taste. This a very good value NC.

01 Partagas Presidente obtained in a trade with IndyRob. Rob you are way too kind. This is one terrific smoke. Sitting here online playing someone online poker with my steelerboard buds...talking smack...raking in the occasional pot. Nice smoke to match a nice poker game.

I had a somewhat pleasant SLR Serie A from '01. The only hindrence to this cigar was the wrapper. It was dark and burned like shit. But I got great flavors from the cigar.

Must've had a fireproof wrapper that plaqued some cigars then. Still another reason I always ask for light wrappers. But I can't complain since it was a gift and I did enjoy the flavors since I don't smoke many SLR's.
