I just finished a Headle Grange and I have to say that it just planted it's flag, in my opinion, as one of the best cigars of 2012. With all the talk about power and the push for bigger ring guage and stronger blends I just don't understand.....I don't want a cigar so big it could gag a donkey and I certainly don't enjoy getting the spins after smoking a cigar. The Headley Grange is imo a great size.....5-1/2 x 52 is perfect (I will admit that I am partial to the robusto size) and it offers a wondeful depth of flavor and aroma that makes me sit up and say wow. It's got some spice but it's not a pepper blast and it has core flavors of cedar, graham cracker and a little dusting of honey. It burned like a champion and the draw was near perfect. This is EVERYTHING I want in a cigar. The masses can keep the monster power machines.....give me a Headley Grange every day of the week and twice on Sunday.
I will admit that this was my first one so I will temper my opinion by saying I will wait to see that the consistency is there with future sticks but from everything I have come to hear about the Headley Grange and the Four Kicks....this shouldn't be a problem.
Mike Condor, John Huber and the good folks at Crowned Heads should be proud of this cigar. A+ Gentlemen!
