Thursday was particularly good - I started with a Mag46, then I found an opened box of Los Perfectos, so of course I grabbed the two unbanded sticks - lit one after dinner - yum!
Finished the evening with a Partagas (6x44)? Wonderful!
Today: started with a Pepin Black robusto, then the new G.A.R. (surprisingly good) and finished the night with a Cabaiguan 46 Maduro (God I love these) over some rummy with the wife (while she enjoyed one of her favorites - an Oliva V lancero)...

Well, since I have just finished shoveling the frickin snow. And since my 14 year old daughter is having a sleep over with 14 of her friends that I just spent about $200 on junk food for. I am going to GTF outta here before the estrogin (spelling) starts flying all over the place.
Knowing this thing will be going all night, so will I. Tonight will be a Oliva V Torp, a LGC Small Batch #2 (thanks Mitch), and an Opus Super Beli. Hope I can hang with them (sticks that is).

Well, smoked 2 of the three I had mentioned. Even though I wanted to smoke the Litto Gomez (knowing I type to fast and put LGC), I just could not do it with the stale atmosphere of people I was in the presence of.
I did give one of the Cuban Exiles a whirl. It was the perfecto. Can't say I was impressed. I had heard that they were pretty good and the store owner said he was very impressed with it. Well, obviously he is not the most knowledgable guy. I talked and he drank his Bud Light with his 2 friends that were slugs, if you ask me. I don't know how he survives in the business.
Anyhow, it started out fairly nice. Light spice but fairly dry from a taste standpoint. Got about 1.5 inches into this approx. 5" stick when I started sucking air. Yes, the infamous "slot spot" as I call it. At that point I had gotten the impression that it was a battle not worth fighting. When I set it down, this guy thought I was insulting him. WTF, he didn't make the thing. I would not try another. Especially at the price of $9 a stick. There is much better $5 sticks out there that I would put in the ring with this any day. Maybe it never had chance after the other two I had smoked.
