It was definitely an enjoyable smoke. Got almost 2 hours out of it. Not sure about cigar of the year but I greatly appreciate the opportunity to try it. Thanks again.
Yeah I kinda agree. Don't know how that git cigar of the year last year. I got a box of 10 sitting and am going to revisit in a year and see if any different. Kinda wonder if cigar companies sometimes put extra special care with the cigars that are offered up to CA or CJ or any other cigar raters and the subsequent releases are not quite as miticulously cared for so to speak. Idk I have no proof in that just a thought.

How’d you like this?
It’s not my morning stick. I really enjoyed it with my coffee. Also, I think I enjoyed it more because I had the time to enjoy the smoke. Might have to smoke another on a different day to really see if I like it. However, based on today I would pick some more up.

Haha, are you saying you like it? Looking forward to trying the one Doug sent me.
Oh yeah, these are pretty good.. could use a little age to smooth out the retro, but still a legit stick. The new ones (silver band) are made at AJF's using "better", more well aged tobaccos.. I'd be interested to try those to compare.

Back for another Ave Maria, this one is 7.5" X 54 RG so it not small. After a straight cut the air flow was iffy, so I work it it about 1/2 deep with my C.P.R. Tool and the draw got better, after lighting up it burn even, producing a nice even long ash. :shame: This stick in Medium - Strong with a flavor profile that has hits of light spice, and some nuttiness.

This Cigar is what I call a good price point stick, as you can pick up a five pack under $15.00 on bid or sometime on sale. No need to raid your childs college fund to enjoy a nice Cigar. JMHO. (y)
