Ok, I will start one today. It is Saturday and I finally get to enjoy a morning smoke. I am starting off the morning with a cup of freshly ground and brewed beans, along with a VR Familiar from 01. I am about 1/3 of the way through and it is fine; call it sweet and gentle.

What are ya' all smokin' today? :waving:

Nothin for me today. Got laundry to do so I can't go to the bar. It's too cold to smoke outside today, too.

With 50 mph wind gusts all day, a morning smoke was out of the question.

Going to go play some poker tonight so I will smoke at least two...we'll see as I haven't packed the caddy yet.

Going to a Birthday party tonight at Fox and Hounds, a cigar friendly restaurant/bar. Think I may try my first Don Alejandro tonight, and maybe something short that I've yet to try as well...Maybe an HdM Petite Robusto?

Craig, finish your laundry and come by!

Tom, would absolutely love to but there's no way. I'm a once a month kind of guy so it takes a bit of time :frownno:

Well, I have to be honest. One of the main reasons I do this is so I can use it as ammunition against Elly. She often wears the same 10 shirts over and over again, leaving closets full of clothes (many of which I bought her) untouched for months on end!
With me wearing everything I own, I'm able to badger her without issue about taking advantage of an entire wardrobe.

Changed my mind and brought along a Ramon Allones 898, A Monte #4 and an HdM Petite Robusto. Also packed a Blue Label Graycliff for the B-Day boy (he likes only mild stuff), and some assorted NCs for any other casual smokers who decide to burn one.

Guess I will save the DA for a night later next week.

Was just about to step out the door and head down to the B&M, but was met by an ice storm. Going to try and wait it out, but doesn't look good.

My wife and I went to Little Italy for lunch today. After I consumed a huge stuffed veal chop we retired to the bar and I enjoyed an 01 RyJ Churchill.

The wind is still lowing supernaturally strong here, crazy.

Last night I smoked an '85 Monte Especial No.1 on the way to Dwavs for poker and smoked an '02 RA 898v while playing.

Past it's prime IMO, unfortunately.
Ahhhh, this got me thinking. I don't know much about cuban aging but, are cigars like when where they peak and then die off?
