Asylum Friday The 13th Figurado
I hope my taste is just off after a week of medicine and medicated mouth wash. All I'm getting is smoke with hints of pepper and cedar.
Edit: The beginning 1/4 was light and a bit surprising in the lack of flavor. I started smoking too fast trying to heat it up and get something going.
The second half gives way to grain, pepper, cedar, fruity floral, and a leathery finish. I'll feel like a schmuck for saying it, bit a couple of retrohales reminded me of Fruity Pebbles cereal.
Part of the issue may have been my expectations. I was expecting something like the Corojo 13 or Martes 13, but this is unique. We'll see how it does with rest.

Perla del Mar Perla L Maduro
Unsure of age, but cellophane had some decent yellowing to it.
Extremely tasty as always and perfect draw,burn and construction.
Had never heard of these until I was gifted a handful of the L (5.5x46) and G (6.25x54) maduros. A JC Newman product.
Extremely good smokes and very reasonably priced for what you are getting.
Will have to try the Shade and see how they are.
