I may just have to hunt one down and give it a try.
I'm not a big Rocky Patel fan either really, but there are a few i occasionally smoke and enjoy, but this was absolutely the best RP I have ever had by far. No others even come close.
I honestly thought it was just all around outstanding, and i rarely use that word for a cigar i smoked.
The flavor profile is just perfect for me, as it tasted like a mostly even mix of my favorite flavors all in one smoke.
Typically not a big fan of Salomons, figarados, perfecto etc, as i always seem to have problems with getting it lit properly and then fighting an uneven burn the entire time. That's all me though, not the cigar as everyone else seems to have no problems.
But had no issue with this one.
I would honestly say this was amongst the best nc's I have ever had, and I'm comfortable making such a bold statement.
As long as the consistency is there, they will definitely become a staple in my collection.
I dont think you will be disappointed if you try one.

It isn't blended by Rocky or his usual cohorts. This is blended by a guy that use to be a big shot for Habanos SA.

Never heard of this one before, but it was a very tasty Maduro with lots of rich flavor.

My Father La Promesa Petite
A rich and almost decadent start with a stinging white pepper retro. The regular exhale and the retro are almost contrasting in the beginning. I can see why this blend is highly praised.
