Are the gloves to keep the smell off your hands or were you wearing them already while working in the shop? Curious because cigar scented hands are one of the reasons I don’t burn too many shorts during the middle of my work day at the office and this got my gears turning…

No, I was about to clean then lube a few MTB parts.
Keep a small sprayer of apple cider vinegar. One spritz, rubbed in, will remove the smoke odorl from your hand. The vinegar smell quickly dissipates.
