Liga Privada 9, a good cigar, but it won’t push any of my favorites out for a regular spot in my humidor. Given all the gushing praise I’ve seen posted about this cigar maybe I was expecting too much. It’s a nice looking dark chocolate brown stick with a nice draw and reasonably good burn, although the second half required several touch ups. Smoke was plentiful, but it didn’t feel as thick and creamy as say a La Historia from EPC. It was a pretty smooth smoking experience, but had a touch more earthiness than I prefer. Overall it was a good cigar, but in that price range ($12-$15) there are others I like more.

I remember these being better than Padron 1964 for some time. I dropped it from my rotation around 2013-2014 when I noticed quality changed. Still miss that sweet cream super smooth cloud producer.
