The Unholy Cocktail is like, his crowning achievement.

And in my books, it does sit nicely next to DPG and Tat blends.

But, while I do like several of his other blends, I'm finding that there are very few that I love.

I guess maybe it's like that famous quote - "In creating a cigar that everyone likes, you're creating a cigar that no one loves."

Like most blenders, AJ has definite winners and losers. Currently, for my taste, he has far more winners. I could smoke the Diesel line and Ruination just about every day and the Man o'War, LHC & 5V AAA are all very good smokes. I can't speak on some of his newer lines as I have not tried them.

As for CI hyping the product, what else are they supposed to do? All of the sellers do it - they want you to buy. It's your responsibility to weed through the hype and figure out your own likes and dislikes. A lot of people smoke White Owl Grapes and others love Opus X - to each his own.

Not to sound too redundant here, but the Diesel and MOW lines are pretty good.

Most of his other stuff I dont really care for.

I have a MOW Armada and San Lotano resting.
So Ill let you know how those go.

Mixed feeling towards his stuff.

I have liked the Man O' War, MOW Ruination original blends were excellent, and recently had the San Miguel and liked it enough to look for a sampler to see which size I like best. The rest have either been too bold or good but not preferable for me, but then I haven't had all his blends/brands. The Armada seems interesting to try, though it's Very pricey.

I think it's funny that the OP posted this unflattering thread and then ran off, never to return, lol.

There are a lot of AJ sticks that I've yet to try but would really like to (Shorty, Unlimited, Armada, San Miguel, whatever else is new).

The Ruination is an epic cigar to me. Routinely available for $5 or less, extra-full in flavor, body, and strength, and to me, just plain delicious. Construction is crazy good, holding a perfect cigar-shaped ash for up to 3". They smooth out a LOT with age, too. I think it stacks up well to other Nica powerhouses like Viaje, Illusione, Oliva V, 601, etc..

The Diesel is also great, and for about $3 retail is one of the best priced full-bodied cigars around ... go into your local shop and ask for a full-bodied cigar in the $3 price range, and then try not to throw up. Heck, as for any cigar for $3 retail ... I can only think of about 4-5 that don't blow goats.

The original Man o' War and the RP Fusion are good cigars as well, especially with age.

I've only had one Virtue, but would like to try more.
