it was all based on a lottery. The stores that got the original exclusivo jars were put into a lottery and 5 stores were chosen to get the DES and those 5 stores also got the exclusivo bundles. I think also one or two other stores got the bundles as well. The bundles were really an afterthought. Just something andre did because he had some extra tobacco.

I understand that. I was just commenting that to get wider distribution of the product to allow more people to try it, they should have sent the DES to 5 stores and the robustos to 5 (or 7) other stores. Have you had a robusto yet?
I had one the other day and wow was this an excellent cigar. It does start off with some oomph but it mellows a good bit imo, into what I'd call a superb medium bodied smoke. It was just fantastic and the only negative I could find with it was that the smoke came to an end....

I had the Jar release on Firday night & the 'new' figurado on Sat night - I think it was excellent - better than the Jar & IMO the perfect shape/size for the blend.
Does this mean Pete will make a pointy figurado now too?

got my fiver of the des today. there is NO mistaking it's a viaje. there is nothing else that smells like them. will see if i can hold off til lunch to try it.
