Has anybody else had these? I had one yesterday, a Toro, paid $6.50. I'm not sure how to explain this cigar. I may be off my rocker but it had that T-52ish profile. I didn't think it was a home run, but it did round 3rd.

A few guys tried it, mostly said it wasn't too bad. I saw some in my B&M, but didn't pick any up...maybe I should try one :dunno:.

Thanks Dan. I did a search but didn't click on it because "Warlock" wasn't in the tittle. Well to be honest I didn't know this was distributed by "Altadis" which I'm not a fan off. However they only distributed it, not rolled it. Had I known it was there's I would have passed it up but I'd be lying if I didn't say it was an okay cigar. Guess it's how my taste buds were poppin that day!

Glad you posted about the Warlock. Just so happens I picked up a few Warlocks from my local B&M about a week or so ago and just got around to trying a stick last Friday. Draw was a little tight at first & but a good slow even burn. Overall I enjoyed the cigar, pretty consistent all the way through. Happen to take a photo on my camera.

I considered it Illusione LIght, with more developed, pronounced flavors. I enjoyed the two I've had so far.

Picked up the larger ring gauge stick and only spent $9 (california) or so on it. If I could get them cheaper I'd consider a box. I'm goth like that LOL!

Well, with some of the good reviews, I may be bummed i put a 3 pack in a package today. I got them free from Altadis, and they have been sitting in the OG cello ever since. I owed a little extra for my lack of urgency sending a few things out, so that 3 pack got tossed in. Now I'll never now. Que Cera

I carry them here at the shop and I will say they are okay. Agreed with most sentiments obviously, nothing to write home about. Like most Altadis product, they don't have any sort of "wow factor".

As an aside to this, I will say it was quite funny when I ordered them. My rep told me not to put them in with my normal Altadis selection because they want it to appear as a "boutique" cigar, not something from Altadis. They obviously know they're reputation fairly well to openly tell B&M's to do this.

Too bad for them they chose a gay ass name for a cigar, or maybe it's the gay ass full page add i've seen. Looks more like an add for the Twilight series.

I'm sure you've all noticed, but Altadis has been very good (read bad) at copying off the success of other cigar manufacturers in the past 1-2 years. Starting with the A.Turrent Triple Play, the triple maduro to "compete" with the Camacho Triple Maduro. It is amazing how close Altadis made the band look to Camacho's. Now they've done the Warlock, in which the box looks surprisingly like a Pete Johnson Monster series box. And word is they are doing a sweet tipped cigar to compete with Baccarat in which the logo will be a card hand. Amazing how they feel that copying great ideas from other companies will bring success down on them.

Warlock is a new stick put out by Omar Ortez. My local B&M has em for about $5 a stick. Really tasty IMO.

Not carrying them because the ad was so damn ghey. Not that there's anything wrong with that.....LOL

Who the hell approved that ad? Some 23 y/o chick from NYC???

I agree, had my first and last today. Very one dimensional stick.

And in respect to the Altadis comment, if they can't copy you and get ahead, they will claim they own your logo (that has been used for 100+years by everyone and thier mother).
