I don't know if its genius level marketing. On the one hand its fairly transparent as a set-up, rather than an actual inventory control mistake. On the other, people like the cigar, and people love a good rare cigar hunt, so the cigars will sell.
I'd grade it 85/100 as a marketing effort. We've seen this done better.

I am waiting for the Dirty Rat. I had the privilege of trying one. With the great generosity of Steve Saks. One awesome cigar I never had the privilege to try the Flying Pig. I heard it was great so I have to take their word for it.
Got 2 rats waiting from Tim's event, but I love the car man!!

Thanks for the compliments on the Dirty Rats. Glad to say that we just got out the Rats that I promised Tim from the event on July 1st.
Heading to Nica shortly to select tobacco for the Nosotros Illusione. Its going to be interesting to watch Dion continue to develop this brand, as he is really doing some interesting blending at the factory.

To me, the Pigs are the perfect smoke at the moment for my current palette, and time available. Bought two more boxes from the event.
However, I am very excited to get my T52 Toro in. Oh yeah, and a few Dirty Rats...sweet!
