I lift about 5 days a week. It really takes dedication to make it worthwhile. I can easily see how guys fall out of it.

I fell off the wagon about a month ago. I can feel myself becoming flabby. I am gonna hit it hard next semester.

I'm just a protein guy myself. I take some whey after the workout and some casien at night. You can REALLY go overboard on supps if you don't watch yourself. I find that a steady diet is the best thing for me.

I try to do a four day split and two of cardio, although I do light cardio even on weight days. Lately, mandatory O.T. has killed my workouts. At my advanced age I use Biochem Whey powder with 1% milk for additional protein. It works well for me and tastes great without adding a lot of calories or leaving that nasty aftertaste. It also seems to reduce muscle soreness. Other than that I just try to eat a healthy diet. I find I enjoy lifting more than ever and really hate the O.T. interference of late. . .:angeryell

yup true statement, its easy to stack the wrong things and get negitive results. ive studied this over and over.. and with a good CEE(buffered creitine that WONT just pump you full of water untill your off) and a good light(lower calorie)whey protein you can drop 5% bodyfat and gain 10lbs of pure lean muscle with proper diet of coarse oh and mixing a good glutemine with your protien shakes (reduces muscle soreness and helps speed muscle production).. haha i love nutrition stuff

I'm not necessarily talking about stacking the wrong supps. I was just stating that buying this supp and that supp adds up quickly.

I used to be a hardcore lifter/pseudo bodybuilder. Then my son was born...yea, I've gone from 6 hours a week of lifting to maybe that in a month. It's pretty sad. I'm really trying hard to get back into it, though. It's just so hard to find time with the little guy at my heels.

I started weights again this year after a 30 yr layoff. I do moderate weights 3x per week and cardio 3x per week, 30-40 mins per session. It's helped me lose 35 lbs - I'm down to 170. Not really looking to bulk up, just stay in overall good condition.

6'6" 275 lbs around 10% body fat, was my everyday weight when I was in college and with the Colts.

6'6" 325 lbs around 30% body fat, now. Really need to start working out again, but I get very addicted when I work out. I know myself, I would get back to three to four hours a day, and my wife would divorce me.
