Just my .02 worth, but in my opinion there is no supplement that can make up for eating right and working hard. I have never taken a supplement in my life and never will. Anything that I cannot get naturally from my diet, I feel that I do not need. That is not to say that i am judging those who do use supplements, just my personal philosophy.
HOW TRUE! Supplements are just that - a supplement to a healthy diet and a regular exercise routine. Ingesting the right supplements will certainly help, but the real results come from sticking to an active & healthy lifestyle (within reason of course - ya stll gotta have some fun!)

Personally for me working out regularly is not only a physically benefit, but mental/psychological. It helps me tremendously with my life's stressors and gives me just a general feeling of well-being.

I'm 55 y.o. and still work-out 6-7 days per week. I was a competitive Olympic style weightlifter from 17 - 23 years old. Had 2 National records; won the NJ State Heavyweight Class tilte in 1973 and '74. Won the National Collegiate 242lb. class overall title in 1975. So I suppose I have weight lifting/weight training in my bones!

My bodyweight now is 195 lbs and I do concentrate my workouts about 75% cardio and 25% weights now. Gotta keep that ticker goin' at 55 and rising.

On the flip side though I'm not a health fanatic. I smoke 3-6 cigars per week, 8 - 10 good craft beers per week, have a bit of a sweet tooth, like to hit the buffet bar occasionally. My point is ya still need to enjoy life, just try to maintain some semblence of rationality and balance.

I agree on this. Just eat well, and in a balanced way and yer body will notice. I don't take, never took, nor intend to take any suplements and I'mdoing great!

I have seen guys on riods and supp's for them sure does help. If its your bag of beans, then enjoy. What may work for one person, won't necessarily work for another.

I do weight training and swimming 2-3 mornings a week, started to slack off and haven't picked up yet. I also walk the dog a mile or more every night and do "12 ounce curls" 2-3 nights a week at that time.

true for some but when you do what you are supposed to and use the supplements along with a ridged workout plan as well as eating right, the results are stunning and last!
