I do a blood load of cardio (mostly running and rope jumping) and body wheight (sit ups, push ups, squats,...). Keep me in shape for me parkour!

I'm 5'7 and 132 pounds.
You keep on loosing weight... i meet you a weeeeeeee bit bigger. I see you skinnier every time we see each other. Though, you do build up muscle.

Me... I don't do exercise, i used to, a lot, but since i got to 8th grade i stopped. I used to play a lot of soccer, baseball, volley ball, etc... a lot. Now i just stick to belly dancing and to my awesome metabolism, it's fast as hell. :stretchgr

I was just wondering what you do day in and day out. Sounds like a fun job from reading about it
Right now I just finished my research with community dwelling older adults aged 60-75. We randomized them into two groups power training/modified dash diet and modified dash diet only. We are also testing DNA for specific polymorphism, doing thigh CT scans to look at intramuscular fat, physical function tests, body composition changes.

I'm specifically interested on the effect of muscle power training and weight loss on physical performance in community dwelling overweight and obese older adults.

When I was in college I used to use protein shakes, twice a day. But later in the game, I gave up all supps, and learned how to EAT. Learned that eating veggies, rice, different meats, would help. I have not lifted in a year, and I feel the huge difference, even my old lady noticed my action, ha.

But, in this world no supp besides riods will outdo good old food.

good sites, I am a member since 04' on bodybuilding.com, that forum has changed allot, b/c the misc section. but still good.

i know some guys who have tried that animalpak.. its mostly vitamins and creatine, there were strength results but not as much as the supp im finishing up:devil:.

im not someone who takes supp after supp, but im fighting for a spot on my baseball team where 70% of the guys are on some hardcore pro-hormones/pro-anabolics, so to stay competitive i dont really have much of a choice because all natural doesnt get the results.

wigwam- if your on bodybuilding.com you probabally know all about prohormones

Back in my football days I used to be a weightroom fanatic, but have let myself get slack over the last few years. I need to get back in the gym as it always made me feel better after a good hard lift.

6'6" 275 lbs around 10% body fat, was my everyday weight when I was in college and with the Colts.

6'6" 325 lbs around 30% body fat, now. Really need to start working out again, but I get very addicted when I work out. I know myself, I would get back to three to four hours a day, and my wife would divorce me.

ummm...what do you mean by "with the Colts" ...?

If anyone who is getting back into weight lifting and general fitness. I can help them by putting together a general fitness protocol. I wouldn't be able to start this until the 10th or 11th.

I've supped for almost 3 years now. I use creatine regularly, at least one protein shake a day plus one after lifting. But I need to use shakes because I can't possibly eat enough protein in my diet to build any muscle mass at my current 255.

I've used other things on and off if I hit a wall...Universal Animal M-Stack has worked well for me, it's not as invasive as many of the other products out there, or so I'm told.

What I'd love to find is a weight loss/metabolism supplement that really works for me. I hit points (like right now) where no matter what I do I cannot loose weight. I've struggled with depression on and off, which I know wreaks havoc with the body chemistry (I gained 20 pound in ONE MONTH with no dietary or exercise changes, that was about 18 months ago, and I have not been able to take it off yet.)

I'm about 255 right now. I'd like to gain 15 pounds of muscle and loose 35 pounds of fat.

I don't know about anyone else here but I find lifting extremely booooooooooooooooooring. I'd rather just do body weight exercises that concentrate on core muscles and couple that with swimming. I'm 5'6" 160lbs and around a 31" waist. Of all the lifting exercises I hate squats! I decided to start dabbling in lifting with a friend and after my first squat session I never did them again. Sitting down to shit was terrible. Sure if I kept going the soreness would not have kept up but that soreness was enough to keep me from going.

Just my .02 worth, but in my opinion there is no supplement that can make up for eating right and working hard. I have never taken a supplement in my life and never will. Anything that I cannot get naturally from my diet, I feel that I do not need. That is not to say that i am judging those who do use supplements, just my personal philosophy.
