Yeah they are way way too young and too fresh off the truck to give a fair review. To say you won't smoke another based on your first try is a little unfair. Wait a week or two and try another. you just might be surprised.

I've had some young cigars before. Fresh outta the truck too.

This was taken into account. Still disappointing. Still funky. Just my opinion. That's why I asked if anyone else had tried them.

Yeah but there really isn't any way to take that into account because every cigar reacts differently to jet lag. I have gotten some cigars from overseas that smoked great right off my doorstep, others need a nice 2 weeks to recover. I appreciate your opinion though. it's definitely good to know. I look forward to smoking one but i will probably give them at least a week to sleep.

Still would love to try a few of each. Can't chase the boxes, but it would be nice to sample some of each blend as I liked the Winter, S&B, Exclusivo & 50/50.

You needn't worry chaps, I think Zen may have gotten a bad stick or two. I received my box today and they are smoking quite well. Wonderful flavor with effortless draw. I burned quite a bit of the foot before I started to smoke the cigar. If you light these like you would a normal shape you will have some difficulty. Cheers

All this talk is making me want to seek out the UPS or USPS guy who is delivering to Tower Pipes and Cigars (Norcal Mark) as I was just told that they will not be in until mid next week!

I have had nothing but top notch experiences with all things Viaje so I am hoping that Zen just got a hold of some duds.

Just to clarify what Zen said, I was not thrilled with the first one I smoked. However, I will never judge a cigar by one stick, I have not had a Viaje that i did not like up to this point so I am sure that this was an abnormality. I will smoke a few more before I make up my mind that it is not a good stick. For now, I will give Andre the benefit of the doubt and assume he has made another hit.

Steve the robusto started out very hearty and continued to get spicer and spicer until it was nothing but a nub in my fingers. You can bet I'll be smoking another at work tomorrow! :cbig:

Glad you enjoyed it Lar. Still, I'm not spending 30 bucks (3 x $10 a stick) to see if I like it. At 10 bucks a pop, I need it to deliver. Just my opinion. :glassesgr
