Sorry didn’t get any pics while on the grill, but I grilled a few excellent T-bones for my band mates this weekend in Arkansas. Played a gig. Had some stellar smokes, bourbon, and wine. Grilled some T’s. Also grilled some burgers while visiting my Pops and brother for Father’s Day. Back in Texas now, but I always love visiting my hometown, and am always a little sad to leave.

T-bones: nothing but salt and pepper, and a little olive oil.
Roasted broccoli, sautéed tarragon mushrooms, and a tomato tart. Tart was pre-made, so I can’t take credit but wow it was good!
Campo Viejo 2015 vintage wine. One of the best meals I’ve enjoyed in a long time! We followed the steaks up with some well-aged Añejo 46’s.5FEC5D95-0A5D-4104-8224-06DF8904954E.jpeg67264463-2613-4774-BB0A-15D508B11BDE.jpeg

Beautiful food porn guys. You guys are very talented on the grill/smoker.

Due to the current skyrocketing prices on everything, I have cut way back on where my dollars go, mainly food purchases, but also travel. Being on a fixed income, it's getting difficult. Burgers and dogs and an occasional sirloin is about as good as it gets around here for my wife and I. I also do some chicken cuts, but even wings are crazy priced these days. I keep my eye out for markdown cuts and shopping early turns up a few bargains.

So I will live vicariously through your fantastic pics and hope for better days ahead. But I'm not holding my breath.
