Bummer.

A tight draw can really ruin a Cigar experience for me.

Dont think I have ever had a problem with any HDM, especially the Epicures, and I smoke a lot of them.

Definitely planning to but a PerfectDraw tool asap though.

My Modus is great for plugs, but really does nothing for a tight draw with just the one barb.

I have read tons of good reviews about the PerfectDraw fixing plugs and tight draws with all the barbs, plus I believe its skinnier than the Modus, which has a tendency to crack the wrapper, even on larger rg smokes, from the pressure of running it through an overfilled cigar.

Wish I would have just gotten it instead from the beginning.

Oh well, lesson learned yet again

Perfect draw has definitely been a good investment for me. It helps most of the time, although it's not always a 100% fix.

This has been the only the 1st draw issue from this box which is half gone, so that's not bad as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah, I think getting one will be well worth the $30 for them on Amazon.

That's good.

Seems like everyone gets at least 1 cigar with issues in every box.

I have had great luck with the Epicures though.

Honestly can't really recall ever having a problem with one, but have always bought multiple singles vs. A box, so just good luck I guess

Partagas Super Partagas

Pretty tasty. Nothing really special, typical partagas flavor.

Perfect draw, burn and construction though

For the cheap price for something similar to, but longer than, a typical Partagas PC, is worth buying on occasion.

Wouldn't be a staple in my stash though

Excellent in every regard as always.

Has been a consistently tasty and well constructed staple with me for a few years now.

Even prefer it over the more well regarded Unicos in fact, and its a fair bit cheaper which is always nice.

My first of these

Very tasty and very flavorful. Did have a hint of bitterness on the finish, but felt pretty spongy and is very fresh from an unknown vendor since I was gifted a few to try before buying the box I was considering in a few days, so was likely a little over humidified.

Will dry box the other 3 for a few days and try again.

Perfect draw, burn and construction and for a small vitola, lasted 45 minutes which is nice.

Still planning to go ahead with the box purchase after trying this one.

Very mild, but no musty taste, and the taste that was there was very good.

Perfect draw, burn and construction too

Good early morning smoke, and always fun to smoke something from that era
