Roasted this Kenyan yesterday morning and had my first cup this morning prepared in my pourover. The jar I store them in smelled like a pastry shop when I opened it and it was like drinking a berry danish.
Only a ten ounce bagThat is wild, sounds incredible but I don't know if I could bring myself to pay that much for a single pound. Very curious to hear your thoughts on it.
I just paid $43 for 5lbs shipped of this awesome sounding green yirgacheffe. Granted, I have to roast it, but that's half the fun for me.
Well, when you put it like that it really isn't that bad at all. Cheaper than my wife's Dutch Brother's habit and I'm sure it's way better tooOnly a ten ounce bag
This will cost me about $3.15 a cup, which is still cheaper than buying a cup at the shop.

I finally took the plunge! Ordered a little roaster thingy, and my first shipment of Sweet Maria's en route (3 different Ethiopians). Can't wait to fall down this slope, too!

Excellent choice, home roasting is great, fun, and saves money! It's nice to be able to roast to what ever level you want. The only negative is that other people's "regular" coffee gets hard to drink
