Lets see here. I play the Double Bass for The Cleveland Orchestra. Started playing when I was 15 and went to a music conservatory for my degree.
We usually tour Europe twice a year so I enjoy finding the cigar shops and stocking up on some Cubans.

Other than that my hobbies are practicing my bass, mountain biking and road biking---a little racing.

One of my favorite things to do is to sit in front of the computer while enjoying the daily cigar.

WOW. The Cleveland Orchestra. Honor to have you here, Cb. Did you play under von Dohnányi?

I'm married for almost 15 years now, living in the Phoenix, Az area. I travel a lot up and down the West Coast selling steel pipe and tubing.

I started smoking cigars in Feb 2005 because I wanted to smoke one at the sail away party. I've been hooked on them since then. I really enjoy one to help relax, since my job is pretty high stress.

I love to play golf, read, and now - collect cigars! This hobby costs more than golf! I usually don't smoke during a round of golf, though...can't concentrate on my ragged game...

That's what I do. I work at an in-residence, one year drug and alcohol treatment program in N.E. Georgia. After working with 180 addicts all day, ya just gotta have a good cigar !!! (Not That I"m addicted to 'em or anything.) Yeah, ok, so I'm in denial ... Big Deal.

Well, I guess it's time I posted something here. Yes, Todd is related to me. I have been employed by E.I. Dupont for the last 34 yrs. I currently manage the receiving department at the Mt. Clemens, Mi O.E.M. Paint Plant. (Original Equipment Manufacturer) We sell to all the major and minor auto plants. I have been married for 33 yrs (12/30/05) to Elaine. I have 2 adult (I think) children. Todd, (OCD) who seems to have gotten ME into this tobacco thing. Rachel really is amazing. Two grandchildren, Gwendolyn and Anderson. Meghan is my daughter and currently working as a High School math teacher in the Hartland School District. In May of '06, Ben will join the family. You can't blame me for Todd!!!!! He most certainly is his own person. But I guess that's what a parent expects when it's all said and done. You all will have to ask Todd about the Isle Royale hiking trip. A small island in the middle of Lake Superior. And the $20 bet I lost. :peace:  I almost forgot, I too was in the Army, '69 to '71, most of my time was spent in Vietnam. I am one the "Ole" guy's in the survey.:peace: :usaflag:

I just received my Real Estate Sales Person License in the state of Massachusetts this month, and I am becoming the manager of a real estate company that my sister owns. I also work as a Legal Researcher for my sisters Law Office. I've been playing Paintball for about 6 years, and started to mess around with RC cars as well this year. Trying to get myself a small wood shop in the basement, but that is going really slow. :bottle: :smokingco

"Please allow me to introduce myself.... I'm a man of wealth and taste......"

My name is Mark, and I have an un-reasonable fear of spiders, penguins, and heights, (other than that, I am quite normal).

I will be 35 years old February 2006. I am a foreman for a plumbing company.
I have helped build 3 hospitals, 1 prison, 3 department stores, 1 dentist office, and 14 single family dwellings.

I have helped build structures for the US Navy, the IRS, and the DEA.

I have worked for the South Carolina Department of Corrections, the UC Davis Medical Center, and the Franchise Tax Board of the State of California.

I have built 3 schools in California, and have also worked at a nudist colony called "Laguna Del Sol", (which was kind of gross).

"Forgive me Father, for I have seen a naked man while at work...................."

I have been a construction worker for 10 years.... before that I was a weapons troop in the US Air Force for 6 years. I smoked my first cigar in march of 1991, and have been smoking cigars off and on ever since.

This Christmas my girlfriend bought me a humidor and a dozen cigars. Jan 11th will be our 3 year aniversary. We are not married, and have no kids........ unless you count two extremely cute but extremely stupid dogs.

Anyway, I found BOTL while Googling around trying to find any info on what the hell to do when you have a new humidor.
Before I found a thread on how to season and maintain a humidor, I was seriously considering smoking all of my cigars.........until my cigar smoking friend returned from Oregon.

I hope the BOTL can help me enjoy my new hobby.

Thank you.
