I've lived in SC area since '85. Went to school there and never left. From LA and a Nittany Lion fan? Are you a masochist? :scratchhe  I have to admit to being a “Joe-must-go” advocate over the past few years. :sadcry: Not because I think he was a bad coach, but because he was holding onto ineffective policies and styles. But he has happily proven me wrong. :rifleaim: He opened up his offence, transferred the play calling to others, uses underclassmen when they prove to be better than the seniors, and has generally turned the program around. I would love to see them as #2. :blob: I WAS a little disappointed to see we weren’t playing a higher ranked team, but the FSU game will definitely be a good one. I think all Lion herfers should burn an offering in support of USC (Just to be sure)! :smokingme

Single batch bourbon is more correctly called Single Barrel or Small Batch bourbons. Since bourbon isn’t a blend to begin with all bourbon is actually single barrel. But some barrels (those stored in the “heart” of the warehouse) age better and produce a very fine whiskey. I use the term to refer to Rare Breed (wild turkey), Bookers, Maker’s Mark, Woodford Reserve (my personal favorite), etc. I’m sure a more informed bourbon aficionado would take issue with my definitions since there are finer distinctions between Bookers and Maker’s Mark for instance. I enjoy single malts too. Can’t stand the blends. I’m partial to the Islay scotches since I enjoy the peaty tastes (Lagavulin is my current got to), but I have a bottle of 25 yr Macallan my wife :wifey: got for me that I’ve been nipping at for a couple of years that I really enjoy.

hey I hate to break it to you, but it's going to be UT all the way guys! Penn State may just have to settle for 3rd this year!

In all seriousness though, it's great to have another barista on the board! And I love your signature!

Happy Valley is collectively wondering "what if we had that 1 second back" during the Mich game.... :scratchhe That was a real tough loss. :cryloud:

I wouldn't put myself into the barista catagory yet. Two weeks with an Expobar Pulsar and NPF does not a barista make I've found out. Having a lot of fun with them though. Tryin' to find a good blend that works for my straight doppios and my bride's caps right now. Monkey Blend has the lead to date. My times are getting pretty constistant and my tamp is getting better... ah, never ending journey of obsession!

That Michigan game tore me up all year long. Right up until LSU lost to Georgia and we took #3 outright. 'Cause, in all honesty, even if PSU had maintained a perfect season, the standings still would have ended up: 1. USC 2. TX 3. PSU, and we'd still finish as #2 after 'SC beats up on the Longhorns.

I'm a big PSU fan for two big reasons: I played linebacker in high school and I absolutely hate the criminals of Miami, FL. PSU whomped on them in the '87 Fiesta Bowl to take the title when I was in high school. I like a clean program.

Try a single cask scotch sometime. You might enjoy it. First of all, most scotch blends contain grain whiskey ingredients (There are exceptions. Johnnie Walker green label is a vatted malt whiskey, and I hear it's pretty darn good). There are quite a few independent bottlers that do a great job. Cadenhead and Duncan Taylor are two biggies. Each cask imparts its own distinct nature. A single malt whiskey is really a "blend" of each of the casks to achieve a uniform taste year in and year out.

I print for one of the Major sports entities...and it has some perks. I just printed this shirt for Reggie Bush...the one under the trophy. I got an Archie Manning jersey that I printed for Payton Manning to wear in a commercial a few years ago too.

Hello all. Thanks for letting me join this group. I spend most of my time here going through old posts and such trying to learn all of the ins and outs.

I am 37 and been divorced for 2 years now. I have two great boys that are ages 5 and 9. Really good kids.

I am the Director of Marketing for a Sales Agency here in Jax. I get to pull data and create all kinds of charts and stuff.

On a personal side, I am a huge Jaguar fan. Having a nice year I might add too! Enjoying cigars now for about 10 years or so but have really started to ramp up my education on them.

I look forward to becoming a true 'brother' and enjoying all that comes with it.

Well, where to start?

My names Todd, I'm 27 years old and married. My wife, Rachel, is 24 and we have a 13 month old daughter named Gwendolyn. We are actively working on giving her a sibling  . This coming February we will have been married for five years. We met in the Army in 1998 and have now been out of the Army for two years. We both work for Leica Geosystems GIS & Mapping out of Alexandria Virginia. We have been working in mapping and satellite imagery since our time in the Army.

In our spare time we thorougly enjoy camping, hiking, bike riding, and going on road trips. Yes, we can actually still do all of that with a 13 month old  8) .

We started smoking cigars on the weekends this past July. I smoke almost nightly now, if I can. Rach usually only smkes with me on the weekends.

Anyway, that's about it for me.

Going through the old postings on this thread and noticed this..... Todd, it was one year ago today that you gave your intro on here! Happy 1 year anny!!!

LOL, very funny. I think it took John a week or so to get this thread up, that's why it took Todd so long to post in it! :headroll:

Well, I'm 28 now, still married and still working for the same company.

Our daughter is 2 now and our son is 7 weeks old...I guess I was right on the mark when I posted that.

I'm 48 years old and have been a Police Officer for 28 years. I'm also a Certified Golf Teaching Professional and have been teaching for 7 years which is what my retirement job will be when I retire in 1 year 3 months and 14 days. Married to my third wife (you get it right if you keep trying) with a wonderful 10 year old daughter. I love golf, cigars, camping and spending time with my family.

Hmmm, you don't happen to be keeping track of the time left until retirement do you?
I think Joe and I are in the same boat waiting until the #50 B-day roles around. 10 years, 10 months, 17 days. Actually, I thought everybody did that.
