I had a 1979 monte carlo....it had a 305 in it...well that did not last long...it blew up...then we put in a 400 from and old wagon or a cady....man that was fast....easy 135....
1980's Camero. Horrible of me that I can't remember the exact year. Bought it from my Mom for an amount I can't seem to remember. Great little car. The main thing I remember about it was that it half burned to the ground in my sophmore year of school while visiting my girlfriend(now wife). Some POS next to it in the parking lot burned to the ground and took my baby with it.
1986 Chevy Nova my Uncle gave me. It was slow as hell but it started every time and was free. I could put the cheapest gas in it, it got me to parties.... plus my friends and I had fun rolling up all the windows and seeing how smoky we could get it..... :smt033
I probably would have killed myself if I grew up in the 60's or 70's and my first car had a big block.
My first car was almost my neighbors racing green Alfa Romeo Spider.
Ended up buying a '85 VW Quantum instead.
Engine still had VW, Audi and Porsche parts in it :dancing:
74 AMC Gemlin. 304 V8, 4 speed manual. This car was prtty torquey for sure. I had a set of L60's on the rear, headers and 4 barrel carb. Little bitch sure would run. Sold it to my uncle while in the AF, he totaled it.
69' Pontiac Grand Prix model J with the funky door handles that no one could figure out! It was great fun watching them trying to get in the car as I was rolling off! :smt077
1972 shit brown Chevy Vega - rebuilt the engine because I was going through a qt. of oil in it a day. Car was totaled about 2 weeks after I finished the work.
1976 Dark Brown Chevy Vega WAGON - Had it for about a year before some bimbo slammed into it and totaled it.
1979 Mercury Bobcat - Sold it when I went off to join the USAF.
It was the only auto transmission vehicle I've owned, and the damn thing literally burned in a McDonald's parking lot my junior year of college on the way back from a convention.
