Going to have a couple fingers of Balvenie Doublewood after the wife gets off work. No stick tonight though, too pooped from moving, finally done though!

Anything now that my kids are back with their mum until Friday!

Got some Ron Zacapa 23 run for Christmas so that will get a good seeing too

Various stouts I have as homebrew and a taster glass worth of a sour beer I have upstairs. I might make a high end manhattan with Stagg in there. Then again I don't have fresh sweet vermouth so I might forgo the expensive bourbon as a christmas manhattan gift. I do have a bottle of eagle rare and a newly gifted bottle of buffalo trace.

Had a conversation about this the other night at a bar. A buddy of mine had an Old Fashioned with Makers, I had one with Bulleit Rye. The bartender said he prefers rye as it is too sweet with Makers and Bourbon in general. Do you usually make yours with Makers? Ever make one with Rye Whiskey?
