really starting to "get" burley blends. nutty, an almost honduran earthiness, and a simplicity. good stuff.
now i just need to explore the dark fired more, and get my aaas handed to me. o)
EDIT: also, stukibuilt? that petey os gorgeous in the light, man. as for hole's hackert, it's so pretty it kinda makes me angry. well done on both, gents. o)

What is the stem material on those Golden Gates?
Others feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but I'm pretty sure the GG stems are lucite

too soft, pretty sure they are vulcanite, and not high grade. then again, you and i both rock protectors, so it won't matter to us.

Awesome. Thanks for the info guys. On other pipe forums I've seen them listed as plastic without any mention of what kind, and the eBay listings I've seen don't mention it either.

Just cracked a tin of c&d Habana daydream, mostly to send out to a few brothers, but had to try a bowl for myself, really enjoying it very rich, a nice change of pace from my typical English
It's a stanwell pipe of the year 1995
Oh and that's a backdrop of baccy bombs I spent the afternoon packing.....lol
Came in at about 2lbs for all of them
