Trying out my first bowl ever from javajunky's clubbing of a pipe newb trade. Some 4 Noggins harvest moon in a briar. tasty stuff so far. I'm definitely enjoying the act of smoking a pipe in general so far, it's very relaxing and just has a feel to it I haven't experienced from other forms of smoking. All in all a great experience.

honestly, they work for me with flakes, fold and stuff. run some of this month's stokkeby through it, and pace yourself, it might surprise you...

then again, you want to make it an english blend briar, those blends usually burn cooler anyway, which would help. o)

smoking some peter stokkebye luxury navy flake this afternoon while watching vids on how to restore estate pipes. This is my third bowl of it and so far I really dig it. It's a little light for my taste but the flavors are there and I seem to have much better luck packing a bowl with flake. The journey continues ....

MacBaren Vintage Syrian in my 320. I really like this blend. I think my tastes are snobbish towards Syrian latakia. I lo rd Samovar which is also Syrian latakia blend. I need to buy a pound or two of this Vintage Syrian.

I wasn't a big fan of it also. I might buy a couple more tins to age and see how the one I have develops and check it again in six months. The GLP lat heavy blends are not my favorite among lat heavy blends.
