locked myself in my office and burned a bowl of C&D engine 99 in a cob while pushing through a pile of paper. i forget who exactly picked up the pipe MaW that i got this from, but a huge thank you on this, the shit is SOLID: very rich and dark with a little spice, not subtle but rather just brash and unapologetically LAT-heavy.

which is to say, i had to pick up a pound. i'm weak, i know...

Spring strong sweet tall green grass grow...

Got my Forever Stems in from walkerbriarworks.com, hooked up a fresh MM cob bowl, and gave the Stonehaven another shot at the recommendation of some BOTL shyster. (in case I was ghosting another tobacco)
I still get more spice than smooth. And not black pepper spice, more like chili pepper. I don't hate it, just wasn't expecting it.

I got a slight bitterness from stonehaven. I wasn't a "gotta find more" guy. I Just chalk it up to another HTF that isn't all unicorns and rainbows, at least not to me.

something completely new, in an old beat ass DrG project pipe.

blend started VaBur, and got more Lat towards the mid and end, but never to lat-bomb territory. damn slid worm snack today, and i cannot wait to revisit it again in a different pipe. with thanks. o)

Inaugural bowl in the BOTL pipe. BOTL blend.

Edit: I couldn't get this pack to burn all the way to the bottom of the bowl. Very dry and loose. Reminds me of the C&D cigar leaf in that regard. Picked up mostly burley on the front end with notes of the broadleaf. Mild sandalwood notes throughout. Next bowl will be something I'm more familiar with to make sure the cake builds evenly. Enjoyable, I just don't want to leave the bottom of the bowl bare. Lol.
