I have the day off today and I'm smoking the last bowl of my first tin of Nightcap purchased back in March, which is when I picked up piping(I have since restocked with a pound of bulk). I'm smoking it in what has become my favorite Latakia tool, a Non Canta La Raganella Prima.

Nightcap was my introduction to Latakia and I immediately discovered that I am a fan. I can see how this is considered an evening smoke as it is strong, heavy smoky flavor, with just a touch of spice. I usually prefer Larry's Blend or EMP for an English morning smoke but occasionally the kick of Nightcap with black coffee just hits the spot.

one of my DrG westie's with WaRevo's "mystery aro #1". a little caramel or butterscotch sweet, a little fall leaf litter, a solid burley/cav base, not sure, but it's burning cool and even, and it still tastes like tobacco, so this one is a win
First off, Love the pipe. Glad you seemed to like the Aro Sample 1 that is a goto for me. I smoke it everyday and a few years ago it was only thing I would smoke. When you are ready I will clue you in with the Blends.

Is that an Shape 81 Westie? Looks like a Bigger Ver of my 81 Starfire. One of the things that really makes it cool to me is that one it looks like it was Rusticated and then wire carved. Awesome lines

not sure the exact shape number, james, but DrG's interpretation of an author is a great pipe, chunky and good to hold, but the stem is shaped with enough taper to clench. kinda prefer them over the Sav 320, truth be told. got a couple so far, and if any of you can get them for a good price, you won't be sorry.

past couple have been on your aro #1. still making my mind up, probably going to try a (very half assed) blind review...

Ok well I have a problem!!!!! "I LIKE TO SMOKE TOBACCO" :) So today I took and wanted something I hadn't smoked yet and thought I would give a Tobacco that was passed onto me by Cigarblunk and cracked a Tin of Three Nuns. First I want to state I thought it was going to be a Joke Tin or something. Weight felt right for a 50g but I was starting to get the idea that the lid must be Glued on lOL Took me 15 min to get the TIN open and when it did open was very pleased with the Tin note. Opened it to find small coins of tobacco packed very nice in this tin to the top. Took my Savinelli 622KS and thought 3 coins won't do it from this tin. Took 8 coins and folded them the best I could and stuffed them in the pipe wow still room to go took a couple more filled the pipe and gave it a Light. It is very interesting and enjoyable smoke. There seems to be a slight hint in flavors of another type of tobacco I smoke. So this is a nice Tobacco and I have to admit I enjoy it. Thank you for the Gift and I will have to keep it in my rotation of Tobacco's I have seen this tobacco years ago never tried it for reasons of my own. However that isn't a factor anymore. So thank you again Cigarblunk

Here is a picture of my Starfire 81 best I could take with my iPhone with shape 81 just above Starfire. Also have a Golden duke same shape just larger and slight different shape of stem shown in second picture love them both. Almost done with Starfire clean up then I smoke. Feels like it is slightly lighter for better clench. GD does well just feels heavy at times good bit makes it feel right
