Thank you, Rob! I can definitely wait.

I'm still nursing the bowl of Three Nuns since it goes out quite a bit while I'm working. Here are the bowls, cleaned of salt and spit cleaned. The stems are fresh out of the Oxyclean bath. Check out the oxidation on the stem of the Savinelli.

Yeah, I was totally shocked first time I took a stem out of the Oxyclean bath abnd it turned light brown on me. I did find that it made it easy to get rid of it, though. Just looks like total crap until you do.

But that reminds me, I need to light up a bowl of something soon. Dunno what, yet.

SPC Plumb Pudding in a no name dublin while scrubbing stems with a Magic Eraser.
I wasn't able to remove all of the tar stains from the clear acrylic stem using alcohol and pipe cleaners. I think I'm going to try leaving a lemon juice soaked pipe cleaner in it and see if that will bleach it a bit.

OJK in a Non Canta La Ragenalla Prima. I haven't had a lot of luck with Old Joe, finding him to be a pretty harsh bastard. This is why I picked this pipe this afternoon to give him another try. This pipe has a wide shallow bowl and an additional chamber, similar to a Perterson system. This is the first pipe I ever smoked that made a very noticeable difference to the flavor of my tobacco, most notably the heavy Lat blends. It seems to just mellow out and better blend the overall flavor of the tobaccos. While Old Joe is still a tobacco to be reckoned with, this pipe did help calm him down enough to where I enjoyed his company.

I find that OJK is best in smaller doses because of it's strength- to each his own. I like it especially in a Mark twain cob. Oddly enough I love the stuff. Been through 3 tins in the past month.

The Mark Twain holds a decent amount of tobacco. It my new favorite MM thanks to posting pics of it. No more Country Gentlemans(old favorite) for me...
