Tonight I'm snmoking some Penzance with thanks to @Grrrrr609 in one of my Mark Tinsky pipes. This one was pipe of the year for my local club for 2013 and was in memoriam to our President that passed that year.
Taking advantage of the relatively pleasant temp in the garage to enjoy my first taste of Pirate Kake. Having those "why didn't I order more" discussions with myself. The pipe has no markings and I think it was the first antique rescue I had bought. Actually came across my first few all that same day at various shops.

My first time with Daughters & Ryan
Three Sails, in the Sav Series III 315.
Bright, grassy, lemon/citrus blast that almost smokes itself (is this an attribute of shag?) Burned super easy.
A little bitey if you don't take it slow. Good practice for sipping the pipe while still being rewarded with flavor.

Tonight's pipe is another CAPS pipe of the year. This one is from 2014 and if made by Pipemaker To the World, Alberto Bonfiglioli. This will not be my last Bonfiglioli pipe. He's a hell of a great guy to boot.

They are great for a shorter smoke. The bowls I have are kinda small although larger ones can be found. There are websites for custom-made bowls as well. The stems can be found on eBay reasonably priced. They are also good travel pipes because a stem and several bowls fit quite nicely into a 5-count Xikar or similar traveldor. Not my pipe of first choice but definitely one I smoke fairly regularly.
