Is the lane limited worth buying a tin to try out? It only seems to come in those big tins.

It's a great everyday smoke. Good with tea. You can also use it to dilute aromatics you find too sweet or goopy. Smells like the pipes your gramps smoked. Is the lane limited worth buying a tin to try out? It only seems to come in those big tins.
Glad you are enjoying it! I found another called Mister Schwister From Hollywood. Same thing. An aro that isn't gooey or chemical tasting. I wonder if it has to do with different regulations......?Pfeifenhaus Raimer #23 with thanks to @PJoyce85. I have never smoked an aro regularly before but I grab this one at least once a week
I would almost guarantee it. I'm sure by their laws they can only use natural things and it pays off.Glad you are enjoying it! I found another called Mister Schwister From Hollywood. Same thing. An aro that isn't gooey or chemical tasting. I wonder if it has to do with different regulations......?
Boswell pipe? Gotta be one from the looks of it.

Mine arrived bone dry, and has been jarred up for months now. Did you add some moisture to it before packing the bowl?Ok, I read about this "magical, golden brick" of tobacco called Semois and had to try it. It came in the mail yesterday and I could not sleep last night knowing it was here and not having tried it!
The "tin" note was not unlike that of grandmas house, musty, faint herbal notes from old perfume and somewhat earthy. Not a huge turn on.
So, I loaded a bowl in my Peterson Irish Harp 606 pot and put fire to it! What an amazing tobacco! Not bitter like burley, not as sweet as virginia, yet quite aromatic in its own sense without additives. Seems a bit monochromatic from start to finish, only building in depth of flavor as the bowl burns. I will definitely keep this tobacco in my rotation and may try blending it with others to see how it performs.
Stay smokey my friends......

Very nice Tinsky!Tonight I'm snmoking some Penzance with thanks to @Grrrrr609 in one of my Mark Tinsky pipes. This one was pipe of the year for my local club for 2013 and was in memoriam to our President that passed that year.

Mine arrived dry as well. From what I have read, it is supposed to be quite dry. I just tried what others have posted about packing it tight and enjoying it. I have also read that adding moisture to it does not make it any better.Mine arrived bone dry, and has been jarred up for months now. Did you add some moisture to it before packing the bowl?
No its not. I can't remember who made it.Boswell pipe? Gotta be one from the looks of it.
