Stuffed Turkey...really?? I don't care who came up with the idea or who's copying who. They need to break out of this naming rut. It's like beating a dead horse. Do something creative...naming wise.

Is the stuffed turkey gonna be a good smoke? Who knows.
Will I chase? No I don't chase.
Will I cop if the opportunity arises and seems as if it's something I'll enjoy? Why the heck not.

Agreed. I enjoy most of the Viaje line so I don't care that they have 3 bands and no original marketing ideas. I do chase with a small effort and have never had a problem unloading a cigar that just wasn't for me.

Wouldn't you like to know?
Im shocked that there arent more of you guys in this Forum who feel Farkas/Viaje is bad for the industry. Its all marketing and hype. "Super Limited" always draws in the suckers. Does he have some quality stuff? Yes, but it is clearly becoming a "game" to him. Try to keep it a big mysterious secret that youre releasing an Extremely Limited cigar (because there is a very limited crop of this extra special tobacco) (BS!), under an enticing name to males everywhere, and watch them come running. Padron and Fuente make some of the greatest sticks out there, and theres plenty for everybody.
I am not sure I find this to be a bad thing for the cigar industy. Will he become as big as Tatuaje in many B&M's? I doubt it many people by to smoke right away and not to hoarde as many of us do. The lack of being able to go back to the store and buy more of the same cigar could hurt his growth in the long run. A little hype is kinda fun and he is kinda settling down into lines as he goes. The big thing I see is that if the cigars start to fail so will the company as a whole. Most of his sale I am going to guess are to internet savvy buyers and if he releases a couple of flops in a row word will spread really fast. That has got to keep him on his toes. I used to buy some of his stuff but I prefer to buy everything by the box and just too many releases to keep up to.

I like a lot of Viajes and then there are a lot I dont like. I can still get MOAB's, WMDs, Candellas, WLP reds, last years 50/50 reds and blacks, etc at a local B&M. So Im not so sure the demand is really there for all of these LE's. It seems like there is when talking to you guys online but inside B&M's I rarely hear people talking about Viaje in fact I bet the majority have problem never even heard of Viaje.

Shocking that you showed up in a Viaje thread!

The more you post, the more my head hurts.
Let's just get it out in the open since you're calling it gay...i know your "head" is hurting when I come into a thread. It's never gonna happen though so let it go man! I don't swing that way. It's cool that you do, i have no problems with that. Please stop harassing me with PMs telling me how I'm the only aspirin to soothe your throbbing "head."

Seriously, why the need to start shit? I don't even know who you are. I've never interacted with you once that I can even recall on here. It's a cigar message board. Lighten up.

Would someone just lock this thread up already? Bitch all you want, andre probably has more money and lots more cigar cred than 99% on here will ever have, including me. Can we just get back to enjoying cigars, Jesus Christos!

Off topic yes, sorry.

BUT at the end of the day it really is a small world. I really wish someday I'd bump into some brothers on Hiltion Head Island. However, living on a 13 mile island makes it a little more remote possibility!

When it really comes down to it, the best way to sell a mediocre product is with great marketing. Without all of the gimmicks and limited this and that, these sticks would sit on a shelf to rot. Just my opinion.
