I believe I had the Exclusivo. What a damn fine experience! The Anny is definitely not all hype. Well deserved of all the praise. What size is it? I love me some principe maddies! Enjoy it should be a great cigar.

The concept of paying so much money for a non-Cuban petite corona is pretty ricockulous. But the Padron '64 Principe and also the '26 #35 are cigars I make an exception for. They are just so fabulous, it's worth the coin. Honestly, I like them better than any of the short-format Habanos, though there are certainly some great ones.I saw this thread a bit earlier, and after stopping at a B&M I walked out with a 64 anny maduro principe. One hell of a cigar! Smoked it last night on a walk with my wife.
It's funny 'cuz it's true...:hystericaexpect to fall in love, then expect to upgrade to the 26 then expect to be broke.
An NC that appeals to CC smoker? well yes I would love to know since I get the same feeling every time I try with some exceptions .^ Different tobaccos have different levels of natural sweetness. If you're smoking maduros, then those are often much sweeter. There is certainly nothing "added" in the sense of artificial, if that's what you mean. Padrons are very "dirty" cigars, no question. I just like that is all Just a preference thing. Some people find HdM Epi #1s to be "flavorless" or "like smoking hot air," but I happened to love the one I had last week.
It's all good, man! Different strokes and all that. To me Mille Fleurs are decent when they've aged for 4+ years. I've only had a couple Quinteros, but I'd rather smoke about a dozen different $2 NCs rather than smoke another one. There are many cheaper NCs, though, especially in the $3-4 range that are excellent, if your main issue is price.
If you want some recommendations for NCs that might appeal more to a CC-lover, I'm sure many here can provide that.
I do enjoy a lot of Alonso Menendez , Colon , Tats , Marcafina Bundles , Santiago Cabanas , Litto Gomez Diez and they are all NCs .It's a shame your palette can't enjoy the NCs... there are so many wonderful experiences to explore.
What I've read in other posts suggests that since the tobacco in both the 64's and the 29's is already aged, they don't really benefit from long term aging. 3 years isn't that long in the grander scheme of things though.Anyone know how these age? I just purchased a handful of them that are about 3 years old.
Try Emersons. Craig and the crew will take good care of you.I believe I had the Exclusivo. What a damn fine experience! The Anny is definitely not all hype. Well deserved of all the praise.
Now I need to find a retailer that takes ******, Mrs Basskiller doesn't see my ****** as she does the credit card. I'll more likely be sticking with the regular Padron line and sneak a few Anny into the humidity for special occasions.
Awesome, as long as they're not aged past their prime already I have no problem smoking them fairly soon. :grin:What I've read in other posts suggests that since the tobacco in both the 64's and the 29's is already aged, they don't really benefit from long term aging. 3 years isn't that long in the grander scheme of things though.

Great to hear. You and I don't agree much politically, but you damn sure know your cigars!Still have some from 97-99. They're much lighter and make a great morning smoke.
