Lmao no bodyguard work although I could since I'm much larger than everyone here...

I do supply chain management/sourcing strategist for an electronics manufacturer. In China I'm either seeing new suppliers and visiting their facilities or building on current supplier relationships and touching base with them at their factories.

I travel in China with an agent I use who assists in finding new factories. He visits before I come to eliminate places he knows I will think are no good. Saves a lot of time I used to spend at trade shows and on the internet taking stabs only to visit and be disappointed.

He also helps a ton in translating not only English but more importantly the technical side of things which has always been a challenge in doing business with China.

And he helps me find cigar shops which is always helpful :)

Eating hunan food, didn't take pics except for this. These deep fried rolls are one of my faves here because of the sweet, creamy, honey like sauce they come with for dipping

Hey bro, I can help you in your business looking for suppliers. I think they're called Alibaba, you can source some quality stuff. :)

And damn... Guantanamera!

I was going to ask about those Guantanameras, but if Aloha-Ryan is impressed, I guess my question had been answered.

Alibaba has been hit or miss. Unfortunately mostly miss when it comes to electronics. Not necessarily bad products but the companies I have used have disappeared at times. Nothing like face to face presence :)

And interested in trying the sticks. Machine rolled based on the Cuban cigar website with short filler. Curious.

So are you ordering this food, or just taking what is served? I'm a pretty adventurous eater but those pigeon heads and snake skin would make me think... lol

And, I was joking about Alibaba, and especially about the Guantanamera. :kissforeh

This is my favorite thread. Thanks for sharing, cheffy. I would eat the shit out of some snake or some pigeon or really (almost) anything else. What has been the best dish so far?

Lol I had a feeling on both but didn't know how to respond without sounding like an asshole :)

I take what they order for me. I have told them that I will try anything they actually eat which leads to a lot of normal items like chicken and pork but also a few key items here and there like snake and pigeon. Definitely not getting full on snake but it's fun to try and some, not all, tastes really good!

The way they do some of the chicken dishes is profound. So for normal dishes the chicken recipes are the best.

For the strange, the pigeon, which I've had twice now, is awesome. But I really enjoy chicken and duck feet!
