I've had briar dust (a lot of it), a GLOB of stain, and bowl coating all on new pipes.Yes. Clean all new pipes. I had all kinds of issues with a new one. Come to find out a piece of shaving from the drilling was stuck in the stem. Was acting like a check valve. Blow thru it was open. Suck in it wouldn't allow any air thru. It would pass a cleaner just fine. Finally it came out on a cleaner.
"Just to clean my pipes." LMAO.I like to make my own .....shine...... But just to clean my pipes
Full of dirt?You'd be surprised...
"Just to clean my pipes." LMAO.
Well, I ran some rum soaked cleaners through and got some reddish brown crap, but the more I did it, it looked like an over spray from the bowl coating. Came right out with one cleaner and the second was clean and dry. Had a hard time not drinking the rest of the rum, but resistance prevailed and all was good.@Griz
Hey Griz, I got the same one!- arrived the other day. Do yourself a favor- run a pipe cleaner with a little everclear through that stem before you smoke it. Let me know what you find when you do. I ALWAYS do this with any NEW pipe I buy. Let me know.
Thanks
That is awesomeFinally got my maxpedition case in and filled it up. I think this will work really well
Get to work!Nice! I was about to go this route until Walt told me he was going to start making leather pipe goods... I have leather tools and even thought of giving it a go.
