Have that same one for the wife's nano and it works great.I use the Itrip for my Nano. The sled version. What I like about it is the USB plug on the bottom allows me to charge/power the Nano with the same car charger I use for my Blackberry.
If the adapter uses a dock connector (like for charging, controlling playlists), then it's brand specific.I've got a Creative Labs Zen Micro Photo ... but my wife has been hinting that she wants a player for her birthday. I'm doing the research now on which player would be good for her.
Are car adaptors all brand specific or can they be used for different models of Mp3 players?
They make IPod specific ones but there are ton available for other makes/models.If the adapter uses a dock connector (like for charging, controlling playlists), then it's brand specific.
If the adapter just uses a Line-in audio jack, then it doesn't matter what brand of player you have.
Yup, like I said if it has a dock connector cable, it's for an Ipod. But if it's just a standard line-in audio jack, any player can be used. They make IPod specific ones but there are ton available for other makes/models.

Cassette? What's that? :rolling:I picked up a $10 casette adapter at Wal-Mart and it works just fine.TYLER
Only AM radio. opeyes:I remember cassettes. I remember 8 tracks. Hell, my first car only had AM radio
If your Prius is an 06 or later there is already an audio-in jack.Well, I don't want to replace the factory stereo in our Prius (and it's CD only - no cassette), so I'll need to see what kind of adaptors might be available and go from there.
