To an inexperience eye, i am willing to be this is the case. When traveling in Switzerland, I have seen the same thing. Squeeze ten into a box and they gain a slightly squared shape that could be confused with box press. After all is that not what box pressed means?I've seen slightly squared because they fit tightly in the box. Of course they rounded out if you gave em some room or age.
As in a Mac computer? If so, nope, just a PC!Way off topic but it looks like you have a mac.... cool brother....
Are you trying to disprove me using those pictures? I see boxes upon boxes of these at my local B&M and they all have a slight box press.#1

I agree with ye on this. It is probably because, given the fact that we're talking about possibly the best-selling ISOM, they sometimes focus more in having the desired quantity, against the quality everybody looks in them.Light her up.
I've found that Monte's vary so much in taste, quality..
The #2 is one of the worst & best I've had.
Does anyone have an opinion on the #4?

Not at all daniyal, I'm just saying I've never seen a Box Press Monti #1,3,or4 and as evidence from the factory, they're rolled then boxed. Are you trying to disprove me using those pictures? I see boxes upon boxes of these at my local B&M and they all have a slight box press.
I hope this clears up any misunderstanding. As far as I've seen the #1,3 and 4's are compressed but none have a ring gauge of 50
I will stand corrected.Cigar Aficionado said:In standard box-pressing, round cigars are packed tightly into boxes so that, over time, their shape conforms to that of the box. By the time the box reaches the retailer, pressure from all four sides of the box has "pressed" the cigars into an amorphous shape somewhere between a circle and a square. Standard box-pressing is more common than trunk-pressing, an elaborate and time-consuming alternative.
