Damn it, how'd I miss that. OK, please excuse my idiot link in my post above.thats fine, but all it is is a charger. You still need the auxilliary port in the front of your stereo for this.
You mean Monster as in Monster cables? Yeah, my CD player in my truck is a six disc changer and the information on the first one I linked said that it plugs right into the back of my stock stereo to give CD quality sound, and I can control the iPod with the stereo controls on my steering wheel. I may go this route, get cheap crap and you end up buying several to find one that actually works well, you may as well just get the right one right away.Wade, if your going to do an FM transmitter I would go Monster or don't get anything at all. Do you have a stock CD change in your car? If so you could get your ipod adapter to connect through the cabling that works your changer and will give you full control through your stock head unit.
I'm looking for something that I can use to hook my iPod up to my stereo in my truck. I have a 2003 Ford Expedition. What I've found is this but I really don't want to spend $135 to do it or have to rip the stereo out of my truck to hook it up. Anybody know of an easier solution?
Thanks,
Wade
OK, I just found this one too. Any thoughts? I don't have an input on the stock stereo otherwise it would be a no brainer, the one I linked at first, you have to connect to the back of the stereo which is really not that big of a deal, but this Radio Shack one I listed in this post seems to be the ticket, unless y'all have some reason why it's junk.
