I have 1 1932 Lancero left from when Pepin was with Padilla. They are wayyy better than the new padilla stuff. I do still like the padilla hybrids.
For nothing more than another opinion thrown in the mix, I have 5 Pepin rolled 1932 lanceros remaining, and I like them lots. I also have about 15 newer Padilla 1932 toros, and I luv em also.
I have 5 of the 1932 Oscuro salomons that I received with the CI Graycliff deal. I have not ordered more only because I'm apprehensive about how good they actually will be. For me, that determination will be made when I smoke one. If I like em, I'll get more. If not, I don't have a bunch of cigars I'm not crazy about.
But for anyone really curious about the new 1932 oscuro vs the Pepin rolled 1932 oscuro, just give Padilla a call. In the past they were very open about the differences between the Miami and the 8&11.
