Agreed, this was a pleasant surprise. Thank God for independent films.

Finally watched The wolf man! pretty good.
I'm with you on that one, I watched it Saturday night and did enjoyed it!I thought The Last Airbender was entertaining. Not great, but entertaining. To be fair, I have never seen the cartoon, and have had absolutely no interest in ever doing so; so I really had nothing to compare the movie to. Maybe that helped.
Guys the three year animated series kicked butt, the movie only covered the first season and left out a ton of good stuff. I'm surprised you were able to follow the story I thought for sure people unfamiliar with the original would be lost.I'm with you on that one, I watched it Saturday night and did enjoyed it!
Eh, the storyline wasn't that complex. Earth, air, fire and water. Fire is bad. One guy can control all four, but fire doesn't like that. That pretty much sums it up, right?Guys the three year animated series kicked butt, the movie only covered the first season and left out a ton of good stuff. We watched it this weekend alon with "Grownups". Loved both of them!!:applause::applause:Saw The Expendables last night and loved it! If you're looking for deep character development and thought-provoking dialogue, this is NOT the movie for you. But, if you want to see gratuitous violence with large groups of people getting shot up, stabbed, beaten down, and in some cases exploding into tiny gooey bits, then The Expendables is right up your alley!
