i wouldve thought you wouldve picked the 56 just by your name :stretchgrBHK54 beats 52 and 56 for me ... just a fantastic smoke!
Well it probably wouldn't take a whole heckuva lot for em to "say" they're still made with that leaf....even if it were at a fraction of what was used in the initial releases..
Funny how these things can manifest themselves. Not sure there will be any hard evidence one way or the other...just curious is all.
Either way, some 54s showed up at my doorstep last night!
It reminds me of a cohiba robusto on steriods. Amp'ed up on the flavour profile.
That's why I picked the 54. Decent sized cigar. Not a bad ring gauge. The 52 just ends too shortly as you are getting into it. YOu have to smoke them 2 at a time. Great marketing strategy though.I've found the 52 to be head and shoulders above the other two, just wish it didn't end so quickly.
That would be awesome!!!!!!! Please make a lancero format of this blend.I have had, in order, the 56, 54, 52, and another 54. The first three were all great, but I'd have to give a slight edge to the 56 in terms of flavor and construction. The second 54 I had (from a reliable yet different vendor) was actually quite disappointing. It didn't have any of the flavors that wow'd me from the first three BHK's I smoked.
For the record, I don't like any of the sizes. Hey Habanos SA, give us the BHK in a Laguito No. 1 format!
