How sour was it? JP doesn't make any beer that's not sour at some level, some are just more or less sour. I have had quite a few of his beers and the strangest of them all being the Dark Dawn their sour stout madura obscurada or something like that.Pretty damn good. It is made by Jolly Pumpkin out of ann arbor...about a block from arbor brewing company but better beer than them imo. Nice strong brown ale with a unusual bitter sweetness to it. Almost like a bit of a juicy fruit (sorry use that example a lot) with a bitter lemon taste to the pallete. Really enjoyed and will pick some more up when I get down there again.

It is a local beer made in Worcester, Ma. I am not sure how far outside of new england you will find it. And it might be out now.....I am sad!Cliff, it's a Wormtown Sweet Tats Imperial Stout. It's a big beer, weighing in at 9% ABV. Its brewed with locally roasted coffee, cocoa nibs, and vanilla beans.
nice head Larry!Damn Marty, you were right it is addictive....but so damn good!
I have yet to try any Russian River brews. Not available in my neck of the woods at all:cursing:
