Can someone who has smoked JD Howard Reserve give me your opinion on which cigar out of their 3 main brands is your favorite?

I really want to find one, I've had Four Kicks and Headley Grange....and the review I just read on the JD makes it sound better than those 2.

Anyone out there with personal experience?

Thanks for your input remy...I was extra excited to try the Four Kicks and was a little let down but I think it was my own fault.

I let the back story get me to hyped up I think, as the cigar is named after one of my absolute favorite bands song....I smoked one 2 days in a row hoping to have a better experience the second time.

Then I tried the Headley Grange, that one I would definitely give a much higher grade.

Cigar Dojo review says it like the JD more than the other 2.

I really like the Crowned Heads organization and what they are all about, I really want to like these cigars. Headley Grange I love...curious to see how others may compare the JD Howard to that and the 4 Kicks.

I love the HG and JDH more so then the Four Kicks.

But everyones tastes are different, only thing I can recommend is to buy some and try them. You can read about them all you want but you will never know till you try.

Emerson's (a sponsor here) has them in stock if you want to give them a try. I just got one from Brandon I'm really looking forward to trying shortly here. I loved the Headley Grange, and I agree it's better than the Four Kicks.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm still a newbie and haven't really bought a box or pack of anything. I will more than likely wait until my B&M gets singles.

Headley Grange over JDH but both over Four Kicks, really not a fan. I think they are all very different from one another and you can't really base one off of another. Just have to take Ninjas advice and give them a try.

Definitely, I will be trying one of these no matter what anyone says in this thread, while I am waiting to come across one, curious to see other peoples experience.

One YouTube review I watched, the guy acted like he wanted to take the Four Kicks home and make out with it, so when I first grabbed some, I bought 2 Four Kicks and 1 Headley Grange assuming I would for sure like the Four kicks better.

Wrong, but hey...I'm not trying to say that Four Kicks are horrible, because they are far from it IMO, still a good little cigar.

Love JD Howard Reserve!! My favorite Crowned Heads release (by far) and one of the best cigars introduced in 2013 and the cigar I've smoked the most this year. I can't get enough 'em.

Ha, thanks Britt, I appreciate it. I've been meaning to check them out anyway, probably easier if I make the trip finally and see what I'm missing out on....grab one myself while I'm there.

I see the sticks he keeps posting on IG, looking like a good selection.

Yeah Sam is a great guy. Great selection especially for a tatuaje fan boy like me.

I'm a HUGE Headley Grange fan but the JD Howard has been giving it a run for its money lately.

You really can't go wrong with either one of them!!!

Huh, interesting. This is what I was hoping for...."a whole new level."

I have high hopes for this company, hoping they do great things.

I'm from the south so that part of their back story strikes a chord.
