My first college hoops game, so I'm like totally hecka excited n stuff.

Not at all. It was 70 and windy when we arrived and about 77 when we left and pretty calm. Sunny skies all day.

We used to have a lumber yard in Tahoe that I always got my lumber from. It was never perfect, but pretty good for the most part. All Doug Fir.
Being in Georgia now, I'm pretty much stuck with Lowes and HD. So far I've found that HD's is better. 2x4 at Lowes here is typically pine.
At HD it's all been Spruce/Hem fir which seems to be straighter over the long haul. That doesn't mean I don't pick through it all though.
I'll go through half a unit to get what I want. Its just the way it is unfortunately.
